About Us
The idea of Path to Parallel came from a deep love of STEM. All founding members come
from a background in various science and engineering activities and a want to further pursue.
Our exposures led to a thought. What if an online platform could unite students with similar interests
around the globe, and more importantly spread the love of these topics by serving those who may not
have had access to prior resources? From there came the idea of peer tutoring and video tutorials. As many
of us have learned, the best way to grasp a concept is through visualization.
We also wanted a deep meaning in this website and referenced back to our own experiences. Despite being able
to experiment through wonderful oppertunities like science fairs and robotics, the one constant holding back innovation
is that of budget and true feasibility. Many of us have seen resources in the context of team tools. For a team
to create and approve. We wanted to make resources more accessible, so that these tools can be seen as not just
a possibility if approved, but something that lets creativity thrive. From there, we built the idea of community partnerships.
We are just getting started from here. We hope to expand into in person, online, and a huge community of learners and
experts alike sharing in a love of STEM. Location is not a problem for us, we have team members from Boston to Azerbaijan. For every aspiring engineer, coder, artist, scientist, and innovator, you have found a
community here. Welcome.
Our Mission
To balance the accessibility of STEM materials through providing accessible online content and reusing engineering waste products. We are committed to providing this for underprivileged youth, and those who struggle with access, in order for more youth to develop a deep understanding of STEM.
